Wawa is a town in Ontario, Canada, located in Algoma County and associated with Lake Wawa. Formerly known as Michipikoten, after the nearby river of that name, the town was officially renamed in 2007 as the largest and most famous Wawa community. The population of the town is 3,000 people.
