Potrero Hill is a sunny family neighborhood in rolling countryside. The neighborhood contains tenements, Victorian mansions, parks with sports fields, and bay and city views. 18th Street is home to quirky restaurants and shops. Nearby are music clubs and the buildings of Anchor Brewing, founded in 1896, which offer guided tours. In the eastern part of Potrero Hill on the bay is the Dogpatch area. In the past, the area was home to industrial facilities, but now it is home to trendy bars and restaurants.
