Great Bear Ski Valley offers over 220 acres of unlimited year-round fun and entertainment just minutes from downtown Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Great Bear, the largest park in the Sioux Falls Parks and Recreation Department, offers unlimited winter sports activities for the whole family. 14 downhill trails, a snowboard park, the Kirby Family Tubing Park, and cross-country skiing and snowshoeing trails that provide fun and enjoyment for all skill levels. During the summer months, Great Bear is the perfect place for hiking, bird watching, or picnicking on our four-mile trail. Our location also provides the perfect setting for outdoor weddings as well as group events.
