Paulson is a city in Lake County, Montana, USA, on the southern shore of Flathead Lake. It is also located on the Flathead Indian Reservation. The population of the city is 5,000 people. It is the capital of Lake County. In 1898, the city was named after ranch pioneer David Paulson.
