Old Town & Vanšu Bridge Webcam

This webcam is mounted on the Riga Islande Hotel on Ķīpsala and faces southeast.
A panoramic view of the historic heart of the Latvian capital unfolds before you. In the center of the frame rises the famous Vanšu Bridge (Vanšu tilts), connecting the left-bank district of Pārdaugava (specifically Ķīpsala island) with the city center.
On the opposite bank of the Daugava River lies Old Riga (Vecpilsēta). The waterfront begins with the presidential residence — Riga Castle (Rīgas pils), followed slightly to the right by the prominent spire and dome of the Riga Cathedral (Rīgas Doms), and the iconic slender silhouette of St. Peter's Church (Sv. Pētera baznīca). In the distance, the high-rise silhouette of the Latvian Academy of Sciences stands out on the horizon.
On the right side of the view, the Stone Bridge (Akmens tilts) is visible, while the lower left corner shows the popular city beach on Ķīpsala (Ķīpsalas pludmale).
