IJ River Webcam

This webcam is installed on the Mövenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre, facing west.
It offers a spectacular live view of one of Amsterdam’s main waterways and the heart of its maritime life. The centerpiece of the view is the IJ River, a historic body of water that served for centuries as a marine bay and a vital trade route for the city.
On the left side of the frame, you can see the Oosterdokseiland area with its modern waterfront architecture. Further right, Amsterdam Centraal Station is clearly visible, with the historic city center, including the famous De Wallen district, stretching behind it. Slightly higher up in the center lies City Marina IJdock with its moored yachts and pleasure boats.
On the right side of the image are the IJplein and Sixhaven Marina districts, a popular harbor for private boats and yachts. Even further in the background stands the modern Overhoeks neighborhood, recognizable by its high-rise buildings. At the bottom of the frame is the Bimhuis building, Amsterdam’s famous concert hall for jazz and improvised music.
