Camera Overview
Vrouwenpolder Beach Webcam

This PTZ webcam is installed on the building of the beach pavilion Pavilion Breezand and shows the popular Vrouwenpolder Beach in the province of Zeeland.
At the beginning of the camera's movement, an eastern perspective opens up: in the distance, you can spot wind turbines installed near the famous Eastern Scheldt Storm Surge Barrier, known in the Netherlands as Oosterscheldekering. This grand hydro-technical structure, which protects the country's coast from floods, will be visible in the central part of the frame.
Vrouwenpolder Beach is considered one of the widest beaches in Zeeland. At low tide, the sandy strip reaches several hundred meters in width, making the beach ideal for long walks, family vacations, kitesurfing, and beach sports. The clean sand, high dunes, and vast open space create a special atmosphere of an open sea coast.
Then, the camera smoothly pans to the left, showing a wide panorama of the beach and the North Sea waters. In the camera's leftmost position, facing west, you will definitely notice a large number of small houses — these are traditional Dutch beach cabins, which locals call strandcabines or strandhuisjes. These cabins are used for storing beach equipment, wind protection, and relaxing by the sea throughout the entire beach season.
Watch the weather, tides, and sunsets on one of the most picturesque beaches of the Dutch coast live!
