Pigeon Forge is a resort town in the Appalachian mountains in eastern Tennessee, USA, famous for its Dollywood theme park with rides and an adjacent water park. The park is named after country singer Dolly Parton, who donated her costumes and memorabilia to the local museum. Also worth visiting in Pigeon Forge are the Smoky Mountain Opry variety show, which performs country music, the Dixie Stampede theater and restaurant, which was founded by Dolly Parton, and shopping centers that sell famous brand clothes at significant discounts.
