Livu Square Webcam

The webcam is installed on the building where the Atspulgs bar is located and is directed westward.
In front of you is a picturesque view of one of the most recognizable squares in the Old Town — Livu Square (Līvu laukums). This square appeared relatively recently, in the mid-20th century, on the site of buildings destroyed during World War II. Today it is known for its unusual wavy layout, symbolizing the flow of the Riga River that once ran through this area. In summer, cozy café terraces, concerts, and street performances take place here, while in winter the square turns into an atmospheric ice rink.
At the bottom of the frame, you can see the square itself, as well as popular venues: MOOR Kitchen & Bar, Colonel Brew Pub & Kitchen, and Zilā Govs Restorāns — favorite spots for both locals and visitors. Above, you can notice the dome with a clock of the famous Riga Cathedral (Rīgas Doms), a medieval Lutheran church and one of the symbols of Riga, as well as the largest church in the Baltic states.
