This webcam is installed on the building of the luxurious Imperial Hotel and is directed դեպի the southwest.
In front of you, the view opens onto the Lithuanian National Philharmonic — one of the most important cultural institutions in the country. The building was constructed in the early 20th century and is known for hosting the Great Seimas of Vilnius in 1905, an event that played a key role in the formation of Lithuanian statehood. Today, the Philharmonic hosts classical music concerts, featuring renowned orchestras, conductors, and soloists from around the world.
At the bottom of the frame, you can see Aušros Vartų Street, as well as a small square with a sculpture — Dr. Jono Basanavičiaus Square, named after one of the founders of modern Lithuania.
