Velas Webcam

This webcam is installed on the building of Hotel Soares Neto and is facing southeast.
It offers a view of the maritime gateway of Velas on São Jorge Island — Velas Port. In the center of the frame is the main docking area for cargo vessels, where unloaded containers can be clearly seen. In the lower part of the frame, you can spot the port’s administrative building, while on the left, moored ships are visible. Slightly above the center, you can see the settlement of Queimada, which is located next to the island’s main airport — Aeroporto da Ilha de São Jorge.
