Pink Lake Torrevieja Webcam
Watch the Pink Lake Torrevieja cam in Alicante, Spain – see live weather and street activity.
Camera Overview

This webcam is installed in one of the most unusual places in the world — the famous Pink Lake Torrevieja (Salinas de Torrevieja). These unique pink salt lakes in Spain were formed naturally, and salt extraction here dates back to the ancient Romans.
On your screen is the view from Los Portalicos (C. los Portalicos) — a street on the pier that splits the lakes right down the middle. Since this is a pan-tilt-zoom camera, you can view this beauty from various angles. The first one faces southwest, showcasing the ever-pink Torrevieja Pink Lake (Salinas de Torrevieja), with the mountains on the border of Valencia and Murcia visible in the distance. Next, the camera turns left, giving you a look at the pier's shoreline. After that, the camera pans southeast. This side of the lake is periodically drained for salt harvesting — the water is evaporated so that the remaining crystals on the bottom can be collected by specialized harvesters. In the background, you will see the white mountains made of salt piles from the industrial complex and saltworks operated by the Salins Group (Salins Ibérica).
Watch this amazing place in real time, as the water hue constantly shifts depending on the sun and the time of day!
