Railroad Station Webcam

This webcam is installed on the Virginia Museum of Transportation building in Roanoke and is directed to the northwest.
Before you opens a view of a busy railroad junction with an extensive network of tracks. To the left, under the canopy and in the open area, there is a historical exhibition of the museum's rolling stock: vintage locomotives, cars, and railway cranes. The central part of the frame is occupied by active railroad tracks going into the distance toward the 5th St SW highway overpass on the horizon. To the right, parallel to the tracks, runs Shenandoah Ave NW with adjacent urban infrastructure, and in the background opens a panorama of picturesque hills.
