Nakagawa Ward Webcam

This webcam is installed on the building of Aichi University – Nagoya Campus in the Sasashima district and is facing south.
Before you lies a panorama of one of Nagoya’s 16 major wards — Nakagawa Ward! The first thing that catches the eye is the Nakagawa Canal, built in the early 20th century for navigation and flood control. Today it remains an important waterway, and in the frame you can spot the Unga Bridge crossing it and connecting the canal’s banks.
On the left side you can see the Ungachō area and, in the distance, the houses of the neighboring Atsuta Ward. In the center stretches the waterfront district of Tsukishimachō, while to the right runs a long avenue-like street — Oguri-dōri (小栗通), leading toward the Shinyoshichō (四女子町) area. At the bottom of the frame you’ll notice the Nagoya Expressway No.5 Mamba Route, carrying lively traffic through the city.
