You are looking at a magnificent view of the very heart of the city — Town Hall Square (Tartu raekoja plats). The upper part of the frame captures the square itself and the iconic "Kissing Students" fountain (Suudlevad tudengid), the main symbol of this university town. Right behind it stands the majestic Tartu Town Hall (Tartu linnavalitsus).
