Hervanta Webcam

This PTZ webcam is installed on one of the residential buildings on Tieteenkatu street and shows a beautiful panorama of the Hervanta district.
At the beginning, the camera is pointed south, where the intersection of Hervannan valtaväylä and Opiskelijankatu streets is visible, behind which the Karinkaari dormitory block is located.
Then the camera turns to the right, where you will notice the Opiskelija A and B stops, further you can see the roundabout at the intersection of Insinöörinkatu and Orivedenkatu streets. And above, the western part of the district is visible with the prominent Hervanta water tower (Hervannan vesitorni).
With a further turn to the right, forests are visible, as well as the center of Tampere in the distance. After that, the camera offers an eastern view, where you will notice the Hervannan hakelämpölaitos power plant, and above — an endless green forest, behind which Russia is in the distance.
At the end, the southeastern view offers a look at the territory of Tampere University, Hervanta Campus (Tampereen yliopisto, Hervannan kampus).
