Näsiselkä Webcam

This webcam is installed on the building of the Tampereen Ursa ry. tähtitorni observatory and faces north.
Before you is a view of Näsiselkä — a rather unique type of water body. In fact, it is not a separate lake, but a vast, deep-water reach (an open lake basin) which is part of the huge Lake Näsijärvi. In the lower part of the frame, you can see the waters of the reach, and slightly to the right, you will notice a green land area — these are the territories around Hirviniementie, a street distant from the city center.
