Before you opens an impressive view of the Old Town of Riga (Vecpilsēta) — a UNESCO World Heritage site № 852, the oldest part of the city. Key architectural landmarks are concentrated here, including the Riga Cathedral (Rīgas Doms), St. James's Cathedral (Rīgas svētā Jēkaba katedrāle) and the National History Museum of Latvia (Latvijas Nacionālais vēstures muzejs).
