Bergen Fjord (Byfjorden) Webcam

This webcam is installed at the RelyOn Nutec Bergen training center in Laksevåg, facing east.
The view opens onto Bergen Fjord (Byfjorden) — a picturesque sea inlet stretching along the city and an important part of its maritime history. Fjords were formed by glacial movements, leaving deep and narrow inlets with steep shores, making them one of Norway’s main natural attractions.
In the foreground, you can see the fjord itself and the city’s coastal districts — Vågen and Sandviken. The Vågen area marks the entrance to Bergen’s harbor, a lively hub of maritime life and trade. Behind the city rise Bergen’s mountain ranges, which are part of a protected natural area and give the landscape its unique atmosphere.
