Porto Moniz Webcam

This PTZ webcam is installed on the building of the Aqua Natura Bay hotel and shows you the popular resort town of Porto Moniz on the northwestern coast of Madeira. As the camera rotates, you can observe different parts of the town in real time.
The camera begins its view with a small square, behind which stands the Fort of St. John the Baptist — currently home to the Aquário da Madeira aquarium. Just behind the fort, the islet Ilhéu Mole is visible.
Then the camera turns right, showing the helipad, the local marina, and then the impressive rock formations Ilhéus da Ribeira da Janela rising straight from the ocean.
After that, the camera quickly swings to the southwest, revealing the steep slopes and mountain roads of the town, laid out across the scenic terrain.
