This webcam is installed on the Hotel Caravelas building and faces northwest.
You can enjoy a view of Madalena Port — the maritime gateway of the town. In the center of the frame is the Pico–Madalena ferry pier, connecting the municipality with Faial Island, visible at the top of the frame. In the lower-left part of the frame, you can see the João Quaresma Maritime Ferry Terminal and the parking area next to it.
