This webcam is installed on the Cocon Dessous clothing store building in Appenzell and is directed east.
Appenzell is a small and picturesque town in northeastern Switzerland, located about 60 kilometers from Zurich at the foot of the Alpstein alpine massif.
Before you is a view of the Town Centre and Hauptgasse, the main pedestrian street. To the right is the historic Hotel Löwen, to the left is the Konditorei-Confiserie Laimbacher confectionery, and in the background is the striking red building of the Löwen-Drogerie pharmacy.
