Crescent Bay Webcam

This webcam is installed on the Troutte Center building (Harbor Heights Penthouse) and faces southeast.
A unique panorama of the very heart of Sitka opens up before you: at the top of the frame, you can see the picturesque city bay, Crescent Bay, famous for its excellent fishing spots. Both local fishing boats and huge cruise ships arriving in the city can often be seen here. On the left is the bustling Crescent Harbor, with scenic island hills rising on the horizon. On the right side of the frame, the historic W.P. Mills House, an important architectural landmark of Sitka, is visible. The center of the view is occupied by the Sitka Historical Society & Museum building. Right here is the plaza where visitors to the city usually wait for their tour buses.
