Slightly above, a panoramic view opens up of the Keokuk Energy Center — one of the oldest hydroelectric power plants on the Mississippi River, playing an important role in the region's power grid.
In the lower-left part of the frame, the area of the Lock and Dam 19 complex is visible, as well as N Water St running along the shoreline. Watch the operation of the locks, vessel movement, and the living engineering infrastructure of the Mississippi River in real-time.
