DuNoir — Shoshone National Forest Webcam

This webcam is installed at the intersection of US Hwy 26 and Union Pass Road, near the turnoff to DuNoir, not far from the town of Dubois, Wyoming, and faces north.
The view reveals a stunning wild panorama of Shoshone National Forest — one of the oldest protected forest areas in the United States. In clear weather, the rugged peaks of the Absaroka Mountains are clearly visible on the horizon, forming a powerful and recognizable skyline.
This intersection serves as a gateway to the wilderness. The road to the north leads into the protected DuNoir Special Management Area, home to grizzly bears, wolves, and large elk herds. The turn south onto Union Pass Road (left side of the frame) leads toward a historic pass dividing major North American river basins.
Watch this untouched landscape, changing weather, and the atmosphere of one of Wyoming’s wildest regions throughout the day.
