This webcam opens up a view of the Monument to the Marquis of Duero, a striking bronze equestrian statue in Madrid’s Plaza del Doctor Marañón. Unveiled in 1885, the 4.55-meter statue by Andrés Aleu honors General Manuel Gutiérrez de la Concha, a hero of the Carlist Wars, atop a granite pedestal with reliefs depicting his 1847 Portuguese campaign and 1874 death at Monte Muro.
