Cowes – Solent View Webcam

This pan-tilt webcam is mounted on the New Holmwood Hotel in Cowes and faces north. The camera offers a wide panoramic view of The Solent, busy with yachts, boats, and ferries. From left to right: Calshot Castle on the horizon, a bustling waterway filled with sailing and motor vessels, and to the far right, ferries including Red Funnel can be seen crossing, with Lee-on-the-Solent visible in the distance. Large cargo ships and tankers also frequently appear and are automatically tracked by the camera.
