The camera first points north, revealing the Metropolitan Cathedral of Mexico City (Catedral Metropolitana de la Ciudad de México). Then it smoothly pans right, showing the National Palace (Palacio Nacional) and the famous Plaza de la Constitución (Zócalo) — the main square, known since Aztec times, popular for cultural events, and home to the important Zócalo/Tenochtitlan metro stop.
