Main Street Bridge Webcam

This webcam is installed near the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Jacksonville Riverfront, facing north.
Before you is a magnificent view of the Main Street Bridge (officially the John T. Alsop Jr. Bridge). Truly a symbol of the city, this vertical-lift steel bridge was built in 1941 and features distinctive bright blue trusses, a four-lane roadway, and two pedestrian walkways. Beneath the bridge flow the waters of the St. Johns River, while the opposite shore reveals a panorama of Downtown Jacksonville (Northbank).
Directly behind the bridge rises the recognizable Wells Fargo Center with its flared base. To the left stands the city's skyline centerpiece — the 42-story Bank of America Tower with its pyramidal crown, alongside the stepped VyStar Tower and the waterfront CSX Transportation headquarters. To the right, the historic high-rise 11 East Forsyth stands out among modern developments.
