This webcam is installed at the cozy Anthony’s Italian Coffee & Chocolate House and faces southwest. It offers a panoramic view of Philly’s famous 9th Street, one of the city’s most colorful and historic areas.
9th Street is the heart of the legendary Italian Market, the oldest and largest continuously operating outdoor market in the United States. Here you can feel the spirit of old South Philadelphia: stalls with fruits, cheeses, meats, and pastries, the aroma of fresh espresso and Italian spices, lively street scenes, and the friendly atmosphere of the locals.
At the center of the frame, you can see the Di Bruno Bros. Bottle Shop, known for its fine selection of wines, cheeses, and gourmet foods. On the left side, the city parking lot and traffic give a sense of the street’s current activity.
