This webcam is located at the National Museum of Wildlife Art and faces southeast.
The frame offers a scenic view of the plains of the National Elk Refuge — a unique area established in 1912 to protect one of the largest elk herds in North America. Each winter, thousands of animals migrate here, creating a spectacular sight. Higher in the frame stands Millers Butte, and beyond it rises Jackson Peak.
