Camera Overview
This pan-tilt-zoom webcam is installed on the building of the popular The Sunset Restaurant, located on the scenic coast of Malibu, California. A unique panorama of the Pacific Ocean and the coastline opens up before you.
Initially, the camera lens points northwest. The frame clearly shows Point Dume State Beach and the coastal strip of Westward Beach Road, stretching in the distance into the famous Zuma Beach. On the right side of the frame, the restaurant's parking lot is visible, with the hills of Western Malibu rising above.
Then the camera smoothly pans to the left, showcasing the endless expanse of the Pacific Ocean. Reaching a southern perspective, the camera displays the rocky shore beneath the cliffs of Point Dume and the road to Westward Beach, where ocean waves crash spectacularly against the embankment.
